Acid Fuchsine - Ponceau Azophloxine

Acid fuchsin-ponceau azophloxin is a staining solution used in histology consisting of a combination of the dyes acid fuchsin, ponceau de xylidine and azophloxin. This staining solution allows differentiated visualization of various tissue components in histological specimens.

Acid fuchsin is a red dye used especially for staining acidic tissue structures such as collagen fibers, muscle tissue, and basement membranes. Ponceau de Xylidine is a red dye used to stain cell nuclei and cytoplasmic structures. Azophloxin, also a red dye, is commonly used in histology to stain connective tissues, especially elastic fibers.

The combination of these three dyes in the Acid Fuchsin Ponceau Azophloxin Solution allows for differential staining of various tissue components by providing clearer differentiation of cellular structures and extracellular matrix components.
This staining solution is a component of various trichrome stains and produces good differentiation of various tissue components, especially plasmatic structures.
