Solutions for pre- and post-treatment of dyeings (pickling, blueing and differentiation)
For histological and cytological staining different solutions are used for pre and post treatment or for rinsing and washing out of staining solutions. An important reaction step here is pickling and blueing, i.e. the conversion of single or double negatively charged dyestuffs into insoluble lacquers which produce a stable staining in the tissue. Furthermore, different washing and rinsing solutions can be found in this category.
