Instructions / Protocol / Recommendations
Verwendung:
The methanolic Toluidine Blue 0.5% solution is used in in vitro diagnostics for staining tissue samples. It consists of toluidine blue, methanol, glycerol and ultrapure water. This combination enables sharp and selective staining of tissue components, especially nucleic acids, proteins and cellular components. It is used in histology and cytology to visualize the structure, morphology and composition of cells and, moreover, pathological changes. This facilitates the diagnosis and examination of tissue samples, especially in tumor diagnostics or inflammatory processes.
Prinzip:
Toluidine Blue 0.5%, methanolic, is a solution used in in vitro diagnostics for staining tissue or cell structures. The principle of operation is based on the binding of the dye toluidine blue to acidic and basic molecules in cell structures. Methanol serves as a solvent, while glycerol stabilizes the dye solution and increases the color intensity. Aqua bidest (ultrapure water) is used as a diluent to achieve the desired concentration of the dye. This combination produces a stain that allows better visualization of cell and tissue structures, aiding accurate diagnosis.
