Fixative for Neurofeto Pathology
Neurofetopathology fixative is essential in pathology and neuroscience for the preservation and stabilization of cell structures in tissue samples. With its main component formaldehyde (CH2O), it crosslinks proteins in tissue by forming methylene bridges between amino groups. Sodium chloride (NaCl) is added to stabilize osmotic conditions and prevent cell shrinkage. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate (ZnSO4-7H2O) provides additional fixation by astringing proteins, thereby strengthening cell structure.
By using this fixative, detailed studies of cell structures, especially in neurofetopathology, can be performed. The reactions of the fixative with the tissue improve the visualization of cell structures and facilitate staining and analysis.
