Verwendung:
The BODIAN silver plating staining kit allows in vitro diagnosis of neurofibrils by silver impregnation for selective visualization of these structures in black. This staining process uses a specific composition of chemicals, such as Protargol S, copper sheet, hydroquinone, gold chloride, oxalic acid, sodium thiosulfate and silver enhancer. It is used in neuroscience and pathology to better study and diagnose neurological diseases and disorders.
Prinzip:
The staining kit for silvering according to BODIAN enables the detection of tissue or cell structures in in vitro diagnostics by a special color reaction. First, the Protargol S complex binds to specific proteins of the tissue or cell structure. Then, a chemical reaction is performed on the copper sheet using hydroquinone, gold chloride, oxalic acid and sodium thiosulfate. This reaction leads to the formation of silver particles, which allow visible silvering of the structures. By using the silver enhancer, the signal is intensified, allowing improved visualization and analysis of the target structures.
