Dyeing kit: AZAN according to GEIDIES
1. nuclear red 0.1% (Item No.: 10264) is used to stain cell nuclei red.
2. phosphotungstic acid 5% (Item No.: 10324) is used as a mordant to improve the binding of dyes to tissue structures.
3. aniline blue - orange G - working solution (Item No..: 10144) is a combination of dyes that renders collagenous and reticular connective tissue in blue and muscle tissue in red-orange.
Using these simplified staining kit components makes AZAN staining more efficient to perform without compromising the quality of the results. It further enables differentiated visualization of various tissue structures and cell types.

Instructions / Protocol / Recommendations
Verwendung:
The AZAN staining kit according to Geidies is an in vitro diagnostic solution used in histology for staining tissue samples. It allows simplified and faster performance of AZAN staining by requiring fewer steps and avoiding the use of aniline alcohol. The kit's various stains allow differentiation and visualization of cell nuclei, collagenous and reticular connective tissue, and muscle tissue. Despite the simplification, the quality of the results are maintained and provide precise information about tissue structures and cell types.
Prinzip:
The AZAN dyeing kit according to Geidies is based on the use of three main dyes: Nuclear Red, Phosphotungstic Acid and Aniline Blue Orange G solution. These dyes bind selectively to different tissue and cell structures, allowing differential staining. Nuclear red binds to cell nuclei and shows them in red, while phosphotungstic acid binds nonspecifically to acidic structures and stains them in blue. Aniline blue orange G solution binds to collagen-containing structures and stains them in orange. The functional principle is based on the interaction of the dyes with the chemical groups of the target structures, resulting in specific attachment and staining, which can be used in in vitro diagnostics for tissue differentiation and identification of
