Aluminum Iron Hematoxylin is mainly used in histology and scientific laboratories. This product is suitable for in vitro diagnostics and is an important component of staining kits such as the HEROVICI staining kit for collagen differentiation. The solution is composed of distilled aqua/VE water, aluminum sulfate hydrate, fermented ethanol, hematoxylin, ferric chloride and fuming hydrochloric acid.

The chemical reactions that occur when using aluminum-iron hematoxylin are based on the interaction between the hematoxylin (C.I.: 75290) and the aluminum and iron ions. This results in metal-hematoxylin complexes that allow specific binding to specific structures in tissue samples. The presence of ethanol stabilizes the staining and intensifies the color intensity.

Thanks to these chemical properties and interactions, aluminum-iron hematoxylin enables selective visualization and differentiation of collagen fibers as well as other tissue structures. The results are clearly defined, facilitating evaluation and making diagnosis more precise.
