Sensor Activator Spray
Sensor Activator Spray is a specialized laboratory chemical mainly used for the preparation and activation of sensors in various scientific and technical applications. It consists of (3-glycidoxypropyl)trimethoxysilane dissolved in denatured ethanol.
During use, the (3-glycidoxypropyl)trimethoxysilane acts as a coupling agent that can modify surfaces and improve binding between the sensor and the molecules being detected. It reacts with moisture to form silanols, which can then form covalent bonds with the sensor surface.
Using Sensor Activator Spray can result in increased sensor performance and stability. It improves the sensitivity and selectivity of sensors by promoting the adsorption of target molecules onto the sensor surface. This can lead to accurate and reliable measurement results in a variety of applications, including environmental monitoring, medical diagnostics and industrial process control.
