Hematoxylin after GILL - I
Gill-I hematoxylin is a histological staining method based on a modified hematoxylin solution developed by Dr. Richard W. Gill. This method is used to stain cell nuclei and other basophilic structures in tissue sections.
Compared to conventional hematoxylin, Gill-I hematoxylin offers several advantages, including improved staining intensity and faster staining of tissue sections. The stain is often used in combination with eosin or other contrasting dyes to better differentiate various tissue structures, as is the case with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining.
