Field-Stain Solution B is an essential component of microscopic cell and parasite imaging. After the application of Field-Stain Solution A, which stains the cell nuclei, Solution B is used to label the cytoplasm and extracellular structures. It contains eosin, which selectively binds to proteins of the cytoplasm and extracellular matrix, making these structures visible. The combination of solutions A and B allows comprehensive imaging of cell structures and identification of intracellular parasites, such as malaria pathogens. The differentiated color image allows experts to clearly identify and assign specific cell components and parasites under the microscope.
