Staining Kit: COOMASSIE’s Staining with GIEMSA
Coomassie staining is used to stain proteins in polyacrylamide gels, while GIEMSA staining is used to highlight and differentiate cellular structures such as nuclei and cytoskeleton.
Coomassie stain binds specifically to proteins, resulting in intense blue staining. The Sörensen buffer provides an optimal pH environment that promotes dye binding.
This kit enables efficient, high-resolution analysis of protein composition and cellular structures.

Instructions / Protocol / Recommendations
Verwendung:
The staining kit based on Coomassie, Giemsa and PBS buffer is used for in vitro diagnostics and enables cytopathological overview staining for the visualization of various cell components in blood smears or smear preparations. Modification for protein visualization (blue) allows differentiation of cell nuclei, granulocytes, lymphocytes and monocytes, erythrocytes, platelets as well as parasites or protozoa in different colors. This facilitates the analysis of cell structures and enables precise diagnosis of various clinical pictures or infections.
Prinzip:
The staining kit is based on Coomassie, Giemsa and PBS buffer and is used in in vitro diagnostics for the identification of tissue or cell structures. Coomassie binds to proteins in cell structures, increasing their visibility. Giemsa stain allows visualization of cell nuclei, cytoplasm and certain cell organelles by binding to nucleic acids and proteins. Sörensen's PBS buffer ensures a stable pH for optimal binding of dyes to target structures. The combination of these components allows detailed analysis of cell and tissue structures for diagnostic purposes.
