Trichloroacetic Acid 20 %
Trichloroacetic acid 20 % is widely used in medical and histological diagnostics and is an effective laboratory reagent. Its strong acid property enables effective decalcification, especially after further dilution. It should be noted that use at higher concentrations may result in tissue damage and therefore further dilution is required to safely treat specimens. As an integral component of staining kits, such as the FOUCHET staining kit for the detection of bilirubin, trichloroacetic acid plays a critical role. The solution enables sharp and differentiated staining, which is helpful in diagnosis. Therefore, by using trichloroacetic acid, clear and precise results can be obtained.
