Treosin
Treosin is a precisely designed laboratory reagent used as an integral part of the GENTA staining kit for Helicobacter pylori. Its composition includes ethanol, water, methanol and acetic acid, which together form a solvent mixture, as well as the dyes acid fuchsin, orange G and eosin G. The balanced combination of these ingredients forms a soluble, versatile mixture that is used to stain bacterial specimens, especially Helicobacter pylori, due to its chemical properties. One of the unique aspects of Treosin is that it helps to highlight the specific characteristics of Helicobacter pylori while producing clear, differentiated colors. This allows for improved identification and differentiation of the bacteria under the microscope.
