CASON Trichrome Staining Solution
CASON Trichrome staining solution is used in histology to visualize various tissue structures such as muscles, connective tissue and cell nuclei in tissue sections. It is particularly suitable for the examination of tissues where differentiation of these structures is required, for example in the evaluation of inflammatory reactions or fibrosis.
The chemical mode of operation is based on the combination of three dyes: orange G, aniline blue w.s. and acid fuchsin. Orange G stains erythrocytes and keratinocytes orange, aniline blue w.s. binds to collagenous fibers and stains them blue, while acid fuchsin stains cell nuclei and cytoplasm red. Phosphotungstic acid serves as a mordant that stabilizes the binding of the dyes to tissue structures.
Compared to other trichrome stains, CASON trichrome staining solution is characterized by its excellent color differentiation and the use of phosphotungstic acid. The clear separation of colors enables precise analysis of tissue structures and facilitates the detection of pathological changes. The use of phosphotungstic acid increases the stability and reproducibility of the staining and gives CASON Trichrome Staining Solution an advantage over similar products.
