Bromophenol blue 0.1% for sperm staining is a specially developed staining solution, which is characterized by its fields of application in andrology, medical diagnostics and life sciences. It is particularly suitable for morphological examination of sperm, including assessment of sperm concentration, viability, morphology and motility.

The staining solution contains 0.1% bromophenol blue in a mixture of distilled aqua and ethanol, which provides optimal staining of sperm structures. The chemical properties of bromophenol blue, an azo dye, cause selective staining of sperm proteins, facilitating visual analysis under the microscope.

When bromophen bromophenol blue 0.1% is used for sperm staining, there is an interaction between the dye and the protein structures of the sperm, especially the acrosome and the plasma membrane. As a result, morphological differences become visible, which allow the assessment of sperm quality.
