MORPHISTO rapid descaler
MORPHISTO Rapid Decalcifier is applied in laboratory chemistry and is especially suitable for use in histology laboratories. In the treatment of tissue samples, it allows efficient decalcification of mineralized structures without affecting the morphology of the samples.
The effect is based on the chemical properties of the acids it contains. Hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid and formic acid interact with the calcium ions in mineralized tissues and dissolve them. Citric acid serves as a complexing agent that binds the calcium ions and prevents re-mineralization.
When this product is used, a reaction occurs that converts calcium salts into soluble forms, which enables the decalcification process. The combination of strong and weak acids also achieves gentle treatment of tissue samples.
As a result, MORPHISTO Rapid Decalcifier can be used to prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination by allowing clear visualization of fine structures and cells.
